Luxury travel starts with luxury luggage and fans of the usual monogrammed variants know that when it comes to travel luggage, there is always that tug-of-war between functionality and style. Prince Albert van Monaco launch the Henk collection in 2004 at Cannes to represent the ultimate in luxury travel. The Henk Travelfriend is a range of carbon-fibre, titanium and aluminium suitcases that features a central locking system, combined with exotic materials such as calf, ostrich and croc leather, Italian wood veneers, and ebony. Each piece is made by hand and only 200 pieces are made every year.
