The year was 1916 when German submarine sank the bottom of Baltic Sea. Among its precious cargo were crates of Champagne, Cognac and Burgundy wines meant to be given to Tsar Nicolas 2 in St Petersburg. More than 80 years later, a Swedish team cover the wreckage and raises the ship to the surface. And although the Cognac and Burgundy wines were lost, the bottles of Heidsieck & Co Moneopole Champagne remained remarkably well preserved.
